May 28, 1956 - 28-5-56 The Queen opens the Household Brigade War Memorial Cloister H.M. The Queen today opened the Household Brigade War Memorial Cloisters in Birdcage Walk. The Queen, who is Colonel-in-Chief of the Household Brigade, was received at Wellington Barracks by her uncle the Duke of Gloucester.
