Iceland's President visits Denmark
Apr 06, 1954; Copenhagen, Denmark; President ASGEIR ASGEIRSSON of Iceland, accompanied by his wife, arrived in Copenhagen yesterday on an official visit to Denmark. They were greeted on arrival by King Frederrik and Queen Ingrid. This is the Icelandic President's first visit to the Danish capital, which for 500 years was also the capital of Iceland. The picture shows President Ageirsson and KING FREDERIK seen driving to the Amalienborg Palace, after the former's arrival in Copenhagen yesterday
