Jul. 07, 1953 - Injured Maharajah Leaves Hospital. The Maharajah of Gooch Behar, 36 years old millionaire ruler of a state in Bengal, left Lister Hospital, Hitchin, Hertforsshire, today. He was involved in a motoring accident near Baldock about a fortnight ago, and sustained fractured ribs and collar bone. Before leaving the hospital the Maharajah visited Miss Vicki Martyn, a 21 year old mannequin of Upper Berkley Street, Mayfair, who was also injured in the crash when the car in which they both were returning from Newmarket overturned after a collision.
