Mar. 03, 1957 - Krishna Menon Return To New Delhi; India's roving Minister, V.K. Krishna Menon (center), is given a tumultous welcome by Indians when he returned to New Delhi recently after heading the Indian delegation to the UN Security Council debate on the controversial Kashmir problem. Huge crowds mobbed the airport carrying banners with Welcome to the Hero of Kashmir, to have a glimpse of their hero. Menon spoke before the Security Council for more than 11 hours, seven hours on one occasion, elaborating on India's stand on the Kashmir dispute with Pakistan. Decision on the Kashmir dispute involving Pakistan resolution was temporarily suspended by the Security Council
