Oct. 10, 1959 - Fasting in Germany: For 21 days, starting from Oct. 3rd, 1959, the Indian tapeshwar Nath Zutshi (Tapeshwar Nath Zutshi) will fast in order to demonstrate for the freedom of (west Berlin). On his table at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, he has laid out, next to a photo of Gadhi, a list to be signed by everybody promising like him: I rather hunger and starve than giving up my freedom. Also Swiss peace deciple Max Daetwyler (Max Daetwyler) with his white flag has come to fast together with the Indian, but he will not make that promise as an oath of this kind is incopatable with his religion. Photo shows on left max Daetwyler, on right the Indian Tapeshwar Nath Zutshi in front of the Brandenburg gate
