Nov. 11, 1959 - Ministers Arrested in Bandaranaike Murder case in Ceylon. A number of ministers - including Mrs. Vimala Wijewardene (51) - and Mr. Dicky de Zoysa, Brother of Finance Minister Stanley de Zoysa have been arrested in Ceylon in connection with the association of Prime Minister Mr. Bandaranaike - who was shot by a man dressed as a Buddhist Monk - and died soon afterwards. Phot shows Philip Gunawarene leader of the Marxist New Lanka Sama Samah Party (VLSSP) who crossed over to the Opposition with his followers several months ago, - after rightist elements in the Cabinet had forced Bandaranaike to dismiss him from his post as Minister of food and Agriculture
