Mar. 27 Ceylon Caption for photo, marked A: Last week/while the midnight procession of 120 tusker elephants in the world famous Kandy Perahera wended its way trough decorated streets of Ceylon's hill capital and tea-growing district, this caperisoned baby elephant who was unable to bear the glare of TV cameras and the glowing lights focussed on it, broke loose from the rest of the tamed herd, stampeded through the milling crowd of devotees and fled into the nearby jungle.
