May 05, 1959 - The Indonesian Ambassador's ward marries at an Islamic ceremony at his residence.: There was a most unusual wedding in London today when dainty 24-year-old Indrawati Roosheroe, ward of the Indonesian Ambassador, Dr. Sunario, was married at an Islamic ceremony to engineer Nondon Gandjar, at the Ambassador's residence at Hampstead. There were two ceremonies, the first took place at Hendon register office this morning. Photo shows the bride feeds her groom with a small ball of rice, which means love and devotion. This was part of the Traditional wedding ceremony
