Nov. 11, 1964 - Council Begins Consideration of Malaysian Complaint Against Indonesia: The Security Council this afternoon began consideration of the complaint by Malaysia of aggression by Indonesia against its territory. Statements were made by Dato Ismail bin Dato Abdul Rahman, Malaysia Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Justice, and by Sudjarwo Tjondronegoro, Indonesia Deputy Foreign Minister. Statements of reply were then made by Dato Ismail, and by Sir Patrick Dean (United Kingdom). At the start of the meeting, the Secretary-General, U Thant, informed the Council of the death today in Helsinki of Sakari Tuomioja, the United Nations Mediator in Cyprus.
