Oct. 10, 1966 - Sukarno's Reunion With Anti-Dutch Revolution Fighters. President Sukarno sits on the steps of Merdeka (Freedom) Palace in Djakarta with some of his oold comrades who took part in the 1945 revolution against the dutch. they talked about the time they had only sharpened bamboo stakes to fight the Dutch colonists with, but won freedom nevertheless. The veterans of the revolution against the Dutch are known as the 1945 Generation:, but many of the members do not support Sukarno's policy today
