Sep. 09, 1963 - Rome, 9th September 1963 In a sand quarry of Rome's Via Portuense cameras turned today on the first scene of the film The Lady's Vengeance (The Visit) starring Ingrid Bergman and Anthony Quinn. The opening scene for the two actors is an intimate confrontation of two lovers after 20 years, Quinn plays a storekeeper in a small central European town and Bergman is the rich widow of a petroleum magnate. The film marks Bergman's first film in Italy since she completed Journey to Italy with George Sanders here in 1956. A dazzling wardrobe of 14 outfits has been designed for her by Reno Hubert
