1965 - Ingrid Bergman here: Ingrid Bergman, who is to play the leading role in a Month in the Country, the opening production of the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford, arrived at London Airport today from Paris. She was met by Sir Michael Redgrave, who will be both her director and leading man. The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre will open on Wednesday, June 2nd, with a six week Festival of Plays to be directed by Sir Michael Redgrave. In addition to A month in the Country (June 2), the other productions will be John Milton's Samson Agonistes (June 16) and the Comic Opera Lionel and Clarissa (June 22).
