Inquest on latest victim in River Thames murders, London

1964 - Latest Victim in Thames-side Murders: Scotland Yard chiefs have been holding a major conference today to examine new clues in the Thames-side murders, the latest victim of which is striptease dancer and prostitute Helen Barthelmy whose naked body was found in Ealing at the end of last week. At today's inquest, which was adjourned, death was said to be caused by asphyxia due to pressure on the neck. Scotland Yard are working on the theory that this latest death is linked with the murders of the three women whose naked bodies have been found in the River Thames over the last few months
