Oct. 10, 1965 - International Balloon Contest: On October 3rd took place the 10 International balloon Contest in Augsburg. 25 balloons took part in the greatest balloon race after the Second World War. The winner of the unusual Race was not the fastest one but the balloon which landed nearest to one of the three aiming points. Photo shows the balloons being prepared for the contest
