Iranian nationals take over Iranian Embassy, London
Apr. 30, 1980 - Iranian Nationals Take Over Iranian Embassy in London: Armed Iran Nationals took over the Iranian Embassy in London today. They took a policeman hostage - an armed constable with Scotland Yard's Diplomatic Protection Group who was on guard outside the embassy, and about 20 members of the embassy staff.
