Irina Maleeva, Bulgarian actress, in Italy
Sep. 09, 1968 - Italy is the country where the stars are born says the Bulgarian actress Irina Maleeva, 20. She is the daughter of Irina Tasseva, the great Bulgarian theater actress. When she came of age (in Bulgaria at 16) she left Sofia and went to England, France and Italy. She played many roles in the comedies of Shaw and Shakespeare. In Italy she attended at the Festival of two worlds in Spoleto and the Cometa Theater in Rome. After that she worked in two films directed by France Indovina and Federico Fellini.
