Isabel Martinez de Peron arrives in Argentina for elections
Mar. 27 Isabel Martinez de Peron from Madrid, wife of the exiled Juan Peron, hoping that his party will win the elections in 1973, was cheered by Peronistas on her arrival. She will politically participate in the forthcoming election campaign of the Peronist movement. On arrival she was greeted by the sisters of Eva Peron (Evita, former late wife of Peron) and by the supporters of his party in Argentina, as well as by a typical noisy Peronist crowd with their banners and music and Peronist songs. Photo shows the wife of Juan Peron, Isabel Martinez, greeting with raised arm the crowd at airfield 1. Her husband Juan Peron served as President from 1973 to 1974, with her as Vice-President, and she herself served as President from 1974 to 1976
