Jan. 01, 1947 - The great search in Tel Aviv for the kidnappers and floggers of Major Britt.: Over 2, 000 men between the ages of 15 and 45 were screened by Police and Military authorities during the Curfew in Tel Avit as part of the search for the kidnappers and floggers of Major Britt. Military Police placed barriers on the road in the restricted areas and at many points traffic jams occurred. Photo shows it does not matter who the person may be - everyone was his belongings checked. Scene on one of the roads leading to Tal Aviv during the search
