Jan. 01, 1957 - Naval Vessel surrended to Israel by the Egyptians is taken into service of the Israel navy.: Mr. Ben Zvi the President of Israel was present at the ceremony of renaming from Ibrahim I to Haiba of the former Egyptian worship - when it was taken into service of the Israel Navy. This is the vessel which surrended to the Israel Navy during the recent clash between the two countries.
