Nov. 11, 1966 - Israeli Army Raid Jordanian Villages. Israeli paratroops supported by tanks and planes carried out a reprisal raid on three Jordanian villages. Thirteen Jordanian soldiers and 13 civilians were killed, according to a Jordanian report to the United Nations, and 54 Jordanians were wounded. the villages, Samoa, Khi Bet Markaz, and Khirbet Jinawa are in Mount Hebron area of Jordan, south of Jerusalem.
