Jun. 06, 1967 - Israel's strong man general appointed minster of Defense: General Moshi Dayan, Israel's here of the 1956 Suez campaign, has been appointed Minister of Defense. This Israel move is expected to raise the country's morals. General Dayan was born in a Kibbutz in 1915 of Ukrainian presents, and lost an eye fighting the Vishy French in Syria.
