Jun. 06, 1967 - Israel Jordan and United Arab republic inform security council they accept cease-fire resolutions: Kuwait rejects them: The security Council this afternoon received draft resolutions - both subsequently recived - from the Soviet Union and the United States, on tje situation in the Middle East. During the course of the meeting, the Secretary-General, Thant, read to the Council the text of a letter received from the United Arab Republic, stating that it accpeted the cease-fire call of the Security Council on the condition that the other party cease the fire. Earlier, the Council had received communications from Jordan, Israel and Kuwait regarding the cease-fire resolutions adopted on 6 and 7 June. At this afternoon's meeting, the Secretary-General gave the Council additional information received regarding the situation in the area. The Council heard statement this afternoon by the representatives of the United States, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, Israel, Bulgaria and Jordan. Nikolai T.
