Jun. 06, 1970 - Israeli Warplanes Shoot Down Egyptian MIG-21. Israeli warplanes intercepted four Egyptian MIG-21 which had crossed the Suez Canal near the Great Bitter Lake, shooting down one and forcing the others to flee back to Egyptian territory.
