Dec. 12, 1969 - Mrs. Meir Gets Vote Of Confidence. The Israeli prime minister, Mrs. Golda Meir, recently won a vote of confidence for her Government of national unity'. The Knesset (Parliament) approved Mrs. Meir's outline of Government policy, based on no withdrawal without a peace treaty with the Arabs, by 90 votes to 10, with three abstentions. The Government has 24 Ministers and is the first coalition to enjoy such overwhelming support out of 120 possible Knesset votes.
