Aug. 08, 1971 - Signature Of the Draft Constitution Of The Federation Of The Arab Republics.: Damascus, Aug. 18 (Mena) Immediately After Arrival Of President Sadat Earlier Today, A meeting took place among the three arab leaders of the federation of arab republics member states. The meeting comprising sadat (Uar) Geddafy (Libya) and hafez El Assad (Syria) took palace at omayyed palace where the Egyptian and libyal are being accomodated during their stay attending the summit conference meetings of the federation of arab republics. Damascus, Aug. 20 (Mena) The three Arab leaders signed a constitution today binding themselves in a confederation they called the arab answer to Israeli aggression. The constitution links Egypt, Syria and Libya. it will go before the peoples of the three countries in refrenda scheduled for September 1.
