Jan. 01, 1976 - Israel Defence Minister tours Lebanese border defences.: The Israeli defence minister Mr. Shimon Peres made a tour of the Lebanese Border Defences in case Syian armed forces should invade Lebanon, Israel will take such measures as indicated by the situation created along the Northern Border with the Lebanon. Mr. Peres added that possible entry of the Syrian Army into Lebanon and the presence there of large numbers of Palestinian terrorists.
