Feb. 01, 1956 - Everyone who is someone met yesterday afternoon at the Miramonti Hotel in Cortina for a grand gala. The honored guest of the night was Italian actress Sophia Loren. Loren, however, retreated to her room after only two hours. She did take a bottle of champagne with her.It was also noticed that her most eager dance partner, Raf Vallone(pictured standing) was not to be found in the ballroom two minutes after she left
