Mar. 03, 1957 - The Hon. Tony Moynihan Takes Up Challenge From The Italian Who Wants To Fight A Duel With Lord Altrincham: The Hon. Anthony P. Moynihan, 21-year-old son and heir to Lord Moynihan, at present in Italy, has signed a declaration to say that he is quite prepared to take up the duel with Italian Marmiroli on behalf of Lord Altrincham. The Italian challenged Lord Altrincham to a dual after reading his attacks in the British Monachy, recently published in the National Press. Tony Moynhaim points out that although he does not agree with everything stated by Lord Atrincham, he has accepted the challenge by Renato Mariroli, because he considers it an offense to British nobility.
