Mar. 03, 1970 - Now it's Doorbells and Running water for the Bedoun. Tourists who went to see the Badouin tribesmen in Israel get a shock when they visit the Tel Sheva village in the Negev area. For instead of seeing the Lords of the desert mounted on their camels or living in their small, makeshift tents they see them living in modern houses, with electricity and running water and you're more likely to see an American car than a camel. Tel Sheva has 20 houses each with a living room, two bedrooms, kitchen, shower and and a courtyard where animals can be kept. One of the strangest things about the new way of life to the Bedouing is doorbells
