Aug. 08, 1973 - Jackie Stewart In New Sports. Seven of Britain's best known sportsmen are taking part in the two-day Superstars contest - a decathlon-type competition organised by Trans World International and BBC TV. Taking part are Olympic Gold Medal hurdler, David Hemery Tennis star Roger Taylor, Racing driver Jackie Stewart, Footballer Bobby Moore and Rugby international Barry John. Each sportsman has to compete in eight of ten events - but not in his own sport. There are £8000 in prize money.
