Sep. 28, 1967 - James Bond's Secret Weapon Crashes on Publicity Stunt.: Yesterday Little Nellie, James Bond's secret weapon in the film You Only Live Twice Crashed in an undignified heap during a publicity stung at Manchester Airport. A gust of wind hit the nippy little autogiro on take off for the second time. It flipped over and ploughed into the ground, wrecking its rotor. An embarrassing moment for the pilot Ken Wallis, a war-time Wing Commander, who had already put Little Nellie through its paces. He was unhurt.
