Jul. 07, 1956 - New Midget Car In Japan. In answer to public demand for cheaper cars, a new midget car made its debut in Tokyo. The two-passenger three-wheeled car, the Fuji Cabin, weighs only 300 lbs, is equipped with a 5.5 h.p engine, and has a maximum speed of 60 kmph. The car, designed and produced by the Fuji Automobile Company, in Yokohama, will be mass produced.
