1958 - Japanese Buddhist prays for 1, 825 days for H-Bomb Ban'.: Devout Japanese Buddhist Hajiro Koyama (63) has completed five years of prayer for a banon nuclear weapons. He belongs to the Nachiran Buddhist sect and has neither bathed or shaved sine he began his vigil on a lobely mountain top at Zushi, Japan. He gets up at midnight and prays for two and a half hours. He claims that his ardent prayers to the North helped to bring about the recent Soviet announcement of H. bomb test suspension.
