Feb. 25 A house that keeps on growing!: When Mr. Kanawa, 58 years old, got married 30 years ago he had dreams of owing a large house and so full of determination he saved 10% of his monthly salary, he is an employee of Japan Telegraph and Telephone Company, and extended his house from a size of 66 sq.m. Doing all the work himself this took over one year. Not content with this hes started to build a new dining room and kitchen, 99 sq.m. which were elevated from the ground and then in the space below he commenced work on a basement, which when completed this year will have 8 rooms and an area of 165 sq.m.
