1964 - All roads lead to the Tokyo Olympics; The vast network of highways and express ways, elevated and subterranean, which an army of workmen have been building for over a year and a half in Tokyo, to relieve traffic congestion for the Olympic games in October next, is at last taking shape in the center of the Worlds largest city. All the new highways lead to the main stadium, and the satellite stadiums where the games will be held. Another highway and monorail under construction will link Tokyo's international airport with city center. Photo Shows A six elevated road complex at Nihonbashi, Tokyo runs through the business section of the city. the cars seen on the highway are on the section which links the city with the airport. The other four roads are the expressways to and from the main Olympic Stadium
