Yukio Mishima, well - known author and once mentioned as a possible Nobel Prize winner, attempted to stir up members of the 32nd Infantry Regiment stationed at Ichigaya, Tokyo in the hope of staging a coup d'etat, and join his Tate no Kai (Association of the Shelds).
