Sep. 09, 1973 - Japanese Prime Minister Plays Gold With Mr Whitelaw At Sandwich Kent: The Japanese Prime Minister Mr Kakuei Tanaka, who arrived in London, yesterday for a four day visit, was at the Royal St George golf course for a nine hole round of golf, his partner was Mr William Whitelaw, Secretary of Northern Ireland, and their opponents were Mr Mori, the Japanese Ambassador, and a past St George Captain, and Walker Cup Captain G.A. Hill. During the game Mr Heath arrived on the course and meet up with the Japanese Prime Minister, and then had lunch in the clubhouse.
