1973 - SEPTUAGENARIAN EMPRESS ENJOYS PAINTING AND NATURE. Empress Nagako of Japan, who celebrated her 70th. birthday last March, leads a peaceful and quiet life painting and enjoying the beauties of nature, when not playing with her grandchildren. Painting is her other hobby, and plans to issue a collection of her paintings in a third publication in book form.
