Jun. 06, 1975 - National funeral for former Japanese Prime Minister Sato: More than 6, 200 people, including representatives of 91 countries, attended the national funeral of former Japan's Prime Minister Eisaku Sato at the Budokan (Martial arts) Hall in Tokyo. Sato, who last year was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize was stricken with a stroke on May 19 last, and died of cerebral hemorrage June 3.
