Jan. 01, 1973 - Rising sun flag on Buiding causes public upset. The owner of a Tokyo buildings is under fire from the public for painting a huge Imperial Japanese Navy flag as a wall decoration. The building owned by a sporting goods maker is located in Tokyos Sumide ward said that as the firm is named :'Asahiya which means rising Sun they thought was a good idea to paint the flag. Due to the comments they may paint it dark red
