Sep. 09, 1978 - Japanese Ambassador Takes Delivery Of A New Jaguar: The Japanese Ambassador to London Mr. Tadao Zato, has bought a British car. The10, 000 white Jaguar was delivered to his Kensington home this morning. With all the trouble over the import of Japanese cars Mr. Kato has diplomatically turned in his Dataun for this 4.2 litre Jaguar XJ saloon. Mr. Michael Edwards, Chairman of British Leyland was delighted with the order. Mr. Kato plane to take the Jaguar back to Japan when his torm as Ambassador ends.
