1982 - The Japanese self defense force has one Airborne Brigade, the first Airborne Brigade, stationed at camp Narashino near Narita Airport Norbi of Tokyo. This is where the brigade has its airborne training school. Most of the cadets are just out of high school and the course is given through out the year. The Course takes five weeks and in the fifth week the cadets complete five parachute jumps to earn their wings. The Japanese airborne infantry jumps from a Japanese jet place called A C-1 Chugata Yusoki ( Medium Range Transport). Cadets learning a proper fo for exiting the airplane by jumping out of towers
