Japanese self defence forces, airborne brigade training

1982 - The Japanese Self Defence Forces Has One Airborne Brigade, The first airborne brigade, stationed at camp Narashino near Narita Airport North of Tokyo. This is where the Brigade has the airborne training school. Most of the cadets are just out of school and the course is given throughout the war. The course takes five weeks and in the fifth week the cadets compete in five parachute jumps to earn their wings. The Japanese airborne infantry jumps from a Japanese Jet plane called A C--1 Chugata Yusoki (Medium range transport).
