Scotland Yard experts are searching for clues in the murder of 21 year old Jean Mary Townsend - whose strangled body was found at South Ruislip yesterday. She was the manageress at a West End stage and film costumiers - and it is thought that she was either murdered soon after leaving South Ruislip Station late on Tuesday night - or Victoria Road, South Ruislip by car.
