May 05, 1970 - The Scars of Dracula Filming At Elstree: Filming is taking place at Elstree Studios of Hammer Films production for Association British The Scars of Dracula'. Starring Christopher Lee once again as the evil Count, the story tells of a young couple's horrifying encounter with Dracula when they go searching for the girl's brother who has disappeared in the Count's cliff-top castle. Simon and Sarah, the couple who pit themselves against Dracula, are played by Dennis Waterman and Jenny Hanley. Dennis Waterman, 22, starred in Up the Junction and The Smashing Bird I used to know'. Jenny Hanley, also 22, is the daughter of Dinah Sheridan and the late Jimmy Hanley. A newcomer to films, she had previously appeared in Tam Lin (with Ava Gardner and Ian McShane) and Billy Wilder's The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes'. Photo shows Jenny Hanley, who plays the part of Sarah, adopts a frightened look during a break in filming at Elstree today
