Jeronimo Remorino, Sir Francis Evans, sign new treaty
1955 - New commercial treaty between Argentine and Great Britain signed in Buenos Aires: A new Commercial Treaty valued at 70, 000, 000 for the first year was signed in the Golden Hall of the Buenos Aires Foreign office recently between Great Britain and the Argentine. The agreement is for two years as from 1st July 1954. Dr. Remorino signed for the Argentine and Sir Francis Edward Evans signed for Great Britain. He is the British Ambassador in Buenos Aires.
