Feb. 26 Lignite Surface Mining In Romania Backed Up By West-Germany: At the Lignite surface mine of Rovinari, Romania, the first four bucket-wheel excavator of a total of 14, will soon start to work (picture). The machines have been built by Both Rumanian and West-German firms and have a capacity of 40, 000 cubic meters per day. The next excavators will be completed in 1979
