Owing to the great weight of the dress Jo Ann Lee has great difficulty in keeping her balance as she glides across the ice, and she is nearly always suffering from cramp by te end of the performance. One of Jon Ann's biggest headaches is how to get out of her dressing from once she has got into the dress- she says doors must have been much wider in the first Elizabeth's day
