Oct. 10, 1973 - 25th International book Fair in Frankfurt/M 1973 Year after year this fair has been growing and growing, setting a new record in 1973. 100 publishing houses more than last year are showing their books adding up to 3814 publishers from 59 different countries. 917 German publishing houses from GFR are present, whereas there are only 42 from GDR. Among a quarter of a million books on display, 79, 000 of them are new editions. As a striking phenomenon: 14 publication on Hitler were presented, among them rather controversial ones, such as Mr. Joachim Fest's Hitler biography, of which 20, 000 copies have been sold already.
