Oct. 25, 1979 - Joan Baez, who decided to offer her support to refugees, will sing tomorrow evening at the forum des Halles in Paris's first quarter for the benefit all the refugees occupied United Nation's commission. The singer held a press conference today in Paris in which she called out to all the refugees in Africa, Latin America, Asia, Europe, and those living in forced exile, and she told of what she bore witness to in her recent visits to refugee camps in southeast Asia during the conference
